Miles "Tails" Prower (Japanese: テイルス Hepburn: Teirusu) is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the title character's best friend and sidekick. Tails also appears in his own spin-off series as "Fox gets the Boot" in comic books, cartoons, as well as in an OVA, named Sonic the Hedgehog. He is the second character to consistently appear by Sonic's side in the series.
