Once the original body of the Maverick Hunter Zero, it was stolen and modified by the evil Dr. Weil to use in his plans for world domination. Using Zero's body, he created the Reploid known as "Omega" to use as his personal war machine. This led to the beginning of the Elf Wars, a war so terrible that 72% of humankind and 97% of all Reploids were wiped off of the face of the Earth. After being defeated by the combined efforts of X and Zero, both Dr. Weil and Omega were banished from the planet.
